Reusables with you

You can visit this section on the Periva app to find reusable items that are currently with you, by going to Account > Reusable items

Here are general guidelines on how various types of Reusables should be returned/reused. Please check specific instructions for different sellers and programs:

Open Network Reusables
Beverage cups and food containers: Containers in an 'Open Network' (returnable at any participating location), such as Takebacks, can be swapped/returned at any participating store or venue that serves in the same type of container. Go to the Locations tab in the app to find them. For such programs, you may pay a small initiation fee at the location you are joining the network - please check each program’s terms.

Restaurant food takeout/delivery/leftovers containers: These can be returned at participating food establishments that offer the same kind of containers. Find participating establishments in the Locations tab of the app.
If you scan the Periva Reusables Tag on the container from the Periva app, it's possession will switch to your account. When you return the container and it is scanned by the establishment, the possession switch to them, and so on. These scans are necessary only if you are dropping the containers off - and not handing them off to an employee who exchanges it for a new drink or gives your deposit back.

Closed Loop Reusables
Delivery containers, bags: Reusables in 'Closed Loop', such as the ones in which you receive deliveries or pickup or purchase food, groceries, beverages, baked goods and so on, should be returned only to the seller you received them from. There may be variations in containers that may not be obvious, and mixing them will cause trouble for everyone involved.

Scanning the Reusables Tag, if it has been set up correctly by the seller, will give you details about the product, including expiration and the date by which they should be returned to get deposit back, or not get charged for the container, depending on the service providers protocols.

Home soda maker CO2 cylinders: For services such as Fizz Now, find participating outlets such as c-stores and liquor stores that carry these in the Locations section for an exchange.
