ECO-FRIENDLY: This is an alternative to disposable filters. It is a zero waste product that is high quality to last a long time. Since it does not contain any plastic/synthetic materials, it can be composted at the end of its lifetime.

Reusable cone coffee filters offer several environmental benefits compared to their disposable counterparts:
Reduction of Waste: The most significant benefit is the reduction in waste. Disposable filters contribute to landfill waste, whereas a reusable filter can last for years, significantly cutting down on the amount of trash produced.
Assuming 1 reusable filter lasts 5 years, preventing over 1500 single-use paper filters, resulting in saving about 1/100th of a tree, and about 10 pieces of plastic.
Resource Conservation: Manufacturing disposable filters requires resources like paper, which typically comes from trees. By using a reusable filter, the demand for these resources decreases, contributing to better forest conservation and reduced energy consumption in the production process.
Less Pollution: The production and disposal of disposable filters contribute to air and water pollution. Reusable filters, on the other hand, have a one-time production impact and don't contribute to ongoing pollution through disposal.
Lower Carbon Footprint: The lifecycle of a disposable filter—from production to transportation to disposal—has a carbon footprint. A reusable filter, used over a long period, has a much lower carbon footprint in comparison.
Chemical Reduction: Some disposable filters are bleached or treated with chemicals. Reusable filters, especially those made of metal or untreated fabric, don't release these chemicals into the environment.
Economic Savings and Efficiency: Reusable coffee filters save money on single-use filters. Assuming 1 filter lasts 5 years, they save about $40 in single-use filters.
